Research
Our research is carried out within the Manchester Architecture Research Group (MARG).
We are particularly interested in:
- architecture and politics;
 - networks of expertise;
 - design processes and users;
 - architecture and the Anthropocene;
 - architectures of temporality;
 - event/media architecture.

We draw upon a wide range of interdisciplinary research interests through our ongoing collaboration with Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). We also have research links to discipline areas such as:
- archaeology;
 - art history;
 - popular culture;
 - structural engineering.

The opportunities we provide for collaborative architectural research are unparalleled, and research bids in a variety of disciplines are strengthened by the involvement of our researchers.
