To apply for BA English Literature with Creative Writing, you’ll need to apply through UCAS.
As part of the application process, we’re looking for applicants who can demonstrate enthusiasm for English Literature and Creative Writing, as well as the academic qualifications required for the course (typically, AAA).
You’ll initially be considered for BA English Literature. If your application is suitable, you’ll be asked to submit a Creative Writing portfolio, which will be assessed by staff from our Centre for New Writing.
Your portfolio should demonstrate fresh, imaginative, and clear writing. The course focuses on fiction and poetry, so this is an opportunity to showcase your creative voice and your interest in developing your writing.
