Interim Executive Director of Faculty Operations

As the Interim Executive Director of Faculty Operations in Humanities, Emma provides leadership for, and management of, all administrative and specialist support services within the Faculty and contributes strategic and tactical advice to the Vice-President and Dean and to the Faculty Executive and other Faculty bodies.

She chairs the Faculty Professional Services Senior Leadership Team and is a member of the Faculty Executive.

Emma has recently held roles as Deputy Executive Director of Faculty Operations and Head of Teaching, Learning and Student Experience. She has worked at the University for over 22 years holding roles in Quality Assurance, Teaching and Learning and as a Head of School Administration. Prior to that, Emma worked at Glasgow Caledonian University and then UMIST.
