Business Engagement and Knowledge Exchange (BEKE) team

The University's Business Engagement and Knowledge Exchange (BEKE) team consist of five sub teams:

  • Strategic Accounts;
  • International Business Engagement;
  • Knowledge Exchange;
  • Business Intelligence;
  • Faculty Business Engagement. 

The team supports a range of activities that bridge the gap between academia and industry by facilitating interactions that will be lead to mutual benefit eg strategic partnerships, collaborative research projects, knowledge transfer partnerships and international industry collaborations. 

What we offer

Based within the Faculty, the Humanities Business Engagement Support Team supports a range of activities to facilitate mutually beneficial partnerships with industry, the public sector and third sector organisations.

We can link organisations to relevant academic staff, research groups or research institutes, and providing ongoing relationship support.

Our team organises Innovation Labs each year bringing businesses and researchers together for a half day hands-on workshop to develop research projects in response to specific business challenges.
