Student voice facilitators (SVF)
Student Voice Facilitators are a paid student leadership and student engagement role within the School of Social Sciences. The role strengthens effective communication and partnership between students, student representatives, programme teams, and the School.
Student Voice Facilitators coordinate and support student representation activities, gather and summarise student feedback, and helps ensure that student concerns are discussed through appropriate channels. They communicate outcomes and updates back to students helping to create a transparent and responsive student experience.
By acting as a link between students and staff, Student Voice Facilitators promote inclusive student engagement, strengthen student voice, and help ensure that student perspectives inform programme development and decision-making.
Since 2025, the School has introduced Student Facilitator roles across the BA Economic and Social Studies (BAECON), BA Social Sciences (BASS), BA Politics Philosophy and Economics (PPE), and the LLB Law programmes.
