French

Discover what you can do with French.

Spoken across Europe, Africa, the Americas and other parts of the world, the language can be useful in a wide variety of countries and communities.

Use it to join conversations, navigate new places and experience the cultures of the French-speaking world with less reliance on translation.

It can also complement your studies, support your career plans or simply give you the pleasure of communicating in another language.

Whatever your previous experience, you can choose a course at an appropriate level and gradually become more comfortable using what you know.

Available study options:

  • Full-year study – two semesters (September to May), with 3-contact hours per week.
  • Semester 2 study – 12-week introductory courses.

All classes are taught on campus.

Levels available range from absolute beginner to C1 standard as per the Common European Framework.
